The bad image of Egypt is shared by many. I worked in the Gulf for many years with people from all over. Arabs that I conversed with tended to have a very negative image of Egypt that I found well deserved. Honest Egyptians themselves report on the the breakdown of civil society and chaos that prevails in Egypt. Egyptians should be more weary of the state of their society than foreign criticism.
Dude: I am not the only unsatisfied visitor. Egypt does not receive many repeat visitors for that very reason. A country with the history, monuments and beaches of Egypt would have 10 folds the current tourism if Egyptians were a polite, civil and honest people. Small Islands that offer just beaches get more tourism. Honestly, if Gulf Arab families did not come to get away from the heat and young Arabs to visit prostitutes, tourism would totally plummet.

i have muslim friends as well as non-muslim friends , and it might come as a surprise to you , but yes, we can wear whatever we want without getting raped or whatever your little misled self thinks , and non-muslims ARE indeed treated the same way muslims are ,if not better in some cases.
